11 days and counting

Led Zeppelin (Jason Bonham on drums) is 11 days from lift off.
Enjoy this rehearsal from back in 1996. 10 Years gone is a great song. I was thinking about this song the other day when listening to XMradio LED channel. David Fisher first told me to take a listen to this song. It was 1978 and i remember it well. Anyone seen "Feeesh"? This one is for you David Fisher.

Margie Peterson of the Allentown Morning Call, wrong yet again

Peterson is an editor/column writer at the Morning Call. Today she writes about funding for PA schools. She thinks more money will make better schools. Let see Margie do you do any research at all or do you just take the word of other idiots and run with it? Look at Kansas city schools Margie. They increased funding dramatically and no improvement was noted, none, zip, nada.
Margie talks about how a study shows Allentown should have $13,741 per student. Let us say that we increase it to $20,000. Using Margie's warped sense then we should end up with briliant individuals coming out of Allentown School District. Because more money means better education right Margie. Money does play a part but more important than money is the attitude of students and parents.
I was in Dieruff high school this summer and saw the janitors cleaning. I was absolutely shocked at the amount of books, clothes and other things that were left behind by students. Textbooks not turned in, jackets left behind. This has nothing to do with money Margie. It has to do with attitude. People like yourself propagate this myth. Many students and their parents don't care, blame it on society or "the man" and expect something from taxpayers.
Nothing is expected from people today because people like Margie Peterson make excuses for this type of behavior. Look in today's MCall and see that 4 teens were slashed in a fight after school. That has nothing to do with school funding dummy.
Take a look at LA schools. No amount of money will save many of them. Gangs, thugs and other malingerers run some schools and liberals just make excuses for them, like if only the school had more money the kids wouldn't be this way and they would have a chance in life. Shut up Margie, you have no experience in school except for picking up your kids.

Liberals are ....

lazy, whiney, arrogant, in love with themselves, cheap, hypocritical, against free speech (speech codes on campus), for racism(affirmative action), enemies of the American military (calling them terrorists John Kerry, equating them with nazis and Pol Pot Dick Durbin, continuously threatening funding for ops), always trying to tell us how to live ( trans fat bans, smoking bans, no choice of schooling), and of course of big f'in liars. The CNN/YouTube debate was set a set up by the liberal CNN and democrat candidates. The headlines now are filled with stories about the deceit that went on last night. At least 5 of the questions were plants.

Morning Call idiots of the week

Here are two comments from over at the Morning Call. This first one is from someone calling themselves "old nam vet"

none of these guys served in viet-nam, so why would you expect their offspring to...they love war as long as they don't have to pay the price ..

The second one is from someone calling themselves American.

Bush never flew a plane on his own. Never passed the physical because HE WAS A COKEHEAD!!! Daddy's friends got him off the hook and was given a job in daddy's administration for doing so.

Here is my lame reply.

Shut up old nam vet. People like you and the democrat leaders at the time lost that war. And American you never served your country so shut up.
I did serve and i know what is going on in the war against Islamic fundamentalists. You are both intellectually vapid and that is why you are both idiots of the week over at shoe-fly-pie dot blogspot.

For shear stupidity they both get the Dick Durbin hair award, freakin' clowns.

Environmental wacko gets sterilized to "reduce carbon footprint"

Toni Vernelli was sterilized at age 27. Her plan was to reduce the global footprint she was responsible for. By having children, Toni would have caused more global warming. If Toni was really serious about reducing her "carbon footprint" then I have a better solution. She could have offed herself, thereby reducing her "carbon footprint" even more.
These environmental nazis are out of control and a dominant factor with liberals.

Then there is Sarah Irving.

"I realised then that a baby would pollute the planet - and that never having a child was the most environmentally friendly thing I could do."

Just say we all took this approach. In about 100 years no humans would be left. That really is the "most environmentally friendly thing" we could do.
Sarah, just end yourself and your "carbon footprint" now please. You and people like you are dangerous.

Celebrity photo op

Every year Hollywood types go to soup kitchens and help serve food. This year is no different. Harrison Ford and his skanky partner Calista Flockhart were photographed serving food to people on Skid Row in Los Angeles. Would these actors show up if the cameras were not present? These Hollywood people are just so pathetically fake. Mr Ford, why don't you help serve the homeless at other times of the year and without the cameras and publicity machines around. It is not really about helping people, it is really about getting thier pictures taken so people think they are compassionate.

Attacks against Guliani

The attacks on Rudy Guliani continue. Here at the PIE we don't really care but the fact of the matter is these attacks are the product of the Clinton campaign. Romney and some repubs go after Guliani but the recent NYC firefighter attacks are the product of Hillary. The Hillary camp needs to push up Guliani's negatives in NY. They feel that if Guliani is the republican nominee that he could win the general election by winning New York. That would be the end of Hillary. The dems must win NY and Guliani is the only republican that can win NY.
That is why the IAFF ran ads against him, which were factually incorrect just like a typical liberal organization, and is preparing more ads and statements attacking Guliani. Didn't the dems say not to politicize September 11, 2001? Oh thats right, only republicans can't talk about the Islamic terrorist attacks on that day.

SCHIPS is really the first step in universal coverage

A couple weeks ago, Morning Call scribe Margie Peterson wrote about the SCHIP program and how it is wrong for people like myself to be against using my tax dollars to provide health insurance for people who own businesses and send their children to private school. These people should make a different choice and decide to use their own money to provide their children with health insurance. Margie then went on to say about the false claim that this would lead to universal health insurance provided by taxpayers. Here is Tom Vilsack, former governor of Iowa:

I think there is going to be a commitment to universal coverage. I don’t think it’s necessarily going to be a sector by sector process. I think you either need to go in whole hog or not. We tried to sort of squeeze the middle here with doing children and doing seniors, and trying to squeeze it. If anything happens, it would more likely look something like this: you would extend eligibility for children from 200% of poverty to 300% of poverty, and create resources to insure the parents of those children.”

Sounds to us like this is a precursor to universal taxpayer-funded health insurance. This entire idea is to make everyone vote for dems for the rest of thier lives because they will provide you with health insurance. It is much like a drug dealer giving away a few free hits so you need to continue with the habit. Once they give it to you then you can not quit on your own. That is essential what all of FDR's policies were about. He planned on the American public being beholded to social democrats in perpetuity. Much like a crack addict. Well Margie we think you are wrong yet again, SCHIPs is a precursor to government health insurance and people above the poverty level, which is adjusted for state benefits according to region-a fact you omit when talking about poverty being different in NY and Idaho, by 300% should NOT get taxpayer money.

Global warming? Yea right!

The lead paragraph from the AP today on "the Earth is rapidly warming."
VALENCIA, Spain (AP) - The Earth is hurtling toward a warmer climate at a quickening pace, a Nobel-winning U.N. scientific panel said in a landmark report released Saturday, warning of inevitable human suffering and the threat of extinction for some species.

What about the record winter in South America? Snow in Buenos Aires. The lowest November temperature in 90 years.
Maybe the Earth doesn't include South America if the "Earth is rapidly warming."
The leftist of the world continue to try and convince us all of manmade global warming in order to institute some world order with respect to resources and energy.
Socialists like Gore and Rodham Clinton are all for this as they already have their private fortunes and would not be effected all that much by their global warming schemes.

Rigged debate and CNN is a tool of Hillary

It appears that we should care about the dems debate in Nevada. It appears the entire thing was rigged for Hillary. LaShannon Spencer asked a question. It appears she is a Hillary supporter.
2 of the 3 analyists on CNN worked for Clinton.
Khalid Khan was another plant by CNN.
Also, the mother of an soldier who has 3 tours in-country was not protrayed on CNN as the extremist activist that she is. CNN has always been dishonest, with an agenda, and generally very liberal. Their management of the Vegas debate clearly demonstrates these traits again.

No ribbons necessary!

Veteran's Day 2007

The media usually salutes the WW2,Korean and Vietnam vets although the last not as much as the first two. We of course salute them all but we have a special thanks for all the veterans from the war against Islamic facism. Special salute to Walt Cannady, 82nd Airborne vet.

Thursday Night Music from ELP

California Jam 1974.
Still,you turn me on.

Waterboarding incident

Here is an eye-witness account of a waterboarding. No not CodePink's bs but the real deal.

Arriving at the POW Camp I was kept hooded and placed in a small box, 2 feet wide, 3 feet long and maybe 3 feet high. I was left the fetal position, sitting on my butt, stripped nearly naked (just week old BVD’s) and left sealed with your defecation can inside your box. Heat, cold, isolation, no communications, and constant noise, music, propaganda, coupled with verbal abuse by your captors is the norm, 24/7. Every twenty minutes or so the guards come by your box and rattle it, sneaking up and demanding to hear your War Criminal Number (thanks again, Jane, for the classification). No more name, rank or serial number, they want some real answers to real security questions. You agonize in your isolation as your hear other members of your group being pulled out for more “personal one on one interrogation”. Then it’s your turn. Pulled from your box you are again brought in for questioning. If unhappy with your answers or no answers, the “Raggedy Andy” dance began again with vigor in the cold night air.

10. Rosie vs. ‘Radical Christianity’
“As a result of the [9/11] attack and the killing of nearly 3,000 innocent people, we invaded two countries and killed innocent people in their countries.... Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America.” -- Rosie O’Donnell on ABC’s “The View,” Sept. 12, 2006.

Hillary takes bribes

It seems that Hillary's attempt to use taxpayer dollars for a hippie museum was the catalyst for a campaign contribution from billionaire Alan Gerry. Gerry is the lead force behind the hippie museum and "donated" $9,200 to the Hillary for President campaign. That is on top of the $20,000 he gave to Hillary and Chuck Schumer for dem Senate campaigns. Of course a third of these "donations" came after the money for the hippie museum in Bethel New York was inserted into an appropriations bill.

Add all the curious Chinese donations and it smells like fish. No not Hillary!

A song for the next year

Regardless how the media and libs want to play it, Bush was right.

Have a listen.
